(1888PressRelease) July 10, 2009 - The Gardner Denver HeliFlow 616 & 624 positive displacement industrial blowers have been selected by the readers of Plant Engineering magazine for a 2008 Product of the Year Award in the material handling category.
The annual Product of the Year recognition, now in its 21st year, is the US manufacturing industry standard for new product achievement. Winners are selected by a vote of qualified Plant Engineering subscribers that have direct buying authority and purchasing responsibility.
The HeliFlow combines proven performance with a unique, solid, helical tri-lobe rotor. This revolutionary HeliFlow rotor design produces lower pulsations to protect downstream instrumentation while incorporating reduced noise levels by 4-7 dBa over similar sized straight-lobe blowers.
The HeliFlow also provides longer service intervals, more structural integrity and greater durability to withstand overhung loads. HeliFlow delivers pressure to 15 psig, vacuum to 16” Hg, and airflow to 3200 cfm.
The HeliFlow is being sold into wastewater treatment facilities and plants with various pneumatic conveying needs.
