The Fotothon 2013 is the nation's first full day photography competition, which would be conducted for around two days during, which the participants would be provided with an opportunity to exhibit their photography skills, creativity and love for nature Fotothon Photography Competition started off in 2011 in Mumbai and has since then emerged as the most sought after nature photography competition in the country.
Fotothon 2013 would be hosting competitions in three categories Foto Story, Fab Foto and Going Macro where the participants would get a span of 24 hours to shoot and submit their work in their chosen category.
Foto Story
The main competing event and it aims to not only put to test photographers eyes for detailing but also their brains for ideation.
Fab Foto
Photographers can submit a SINGLE photograph under this category,which should be Environment and Nature related.
Going Macro
Photographers can submit a SINGLE image of a subject related to Nature that they have clicked using a Macro lens.
This category as the name suggests is meant for images of nature and environment that were used clicking a Macro Lens. The participants would be allowed to submit just one photograph per participant. In the given span of 24 hours the participants are allowed to travel anywhere across the city, state or country and click what they feel would be the winning picture and return with the same to the event venue, which is Dharavi. The competition also does not require a high end camera and the participants can use any camera that is of 5 megapixels and above.
Fotothon Mumbai is a 24 hours race, that tests the photography skills, creativity and passion for Nature, which is present in the photographer. So hurry and register now to exhibit your photography skills and emerge as a pioneer among your peers in the industry.
