Alongside locations in Cambodia, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Malaysia, and Thailand, another opening marks the consulting giant’s growing and permanent presence in the Asia Pacific economic area.
- (1888PressRelease) December 29, 2019 - Located at OUE Downtown, one of Singapore’s oldest skyscrapers and prominent landmark in the heart of the Central Business District, the new location is their thirteenth office providing complete and powerful support for their clients’ globalization efforts in territories and industries worldwide.
The Singapore office, which represents The Flying Sourcers’ commitment to provide its clients with highly responsive in-region service to support existing and new projects, will be led by the firm’s newly appointed Managing Director, Fiona Lim, who has significant experience providing advisory services to clients in the beauty and cosmetics industry, having successfully managed a wide range of projects with both commercial and public sectors. In addition to her consulting experience, Fiona gained valuable practical industry expertise while responsible for managing key customer accounts, supply chain management, and business development.
Founded in 2008 by Gerald Chan (the current Chief Operating Officer of the Group), The Flying Sourcers Group is among Southeast Asia’s largest specialized professional services providers and has seen a steep growth trajectory since its inception. The company, which originated as a two-man show more than a decade ago from its base in Guangzhou, China has since grown significantly to become a Group of Companies with more than 500 employees. The Flying Sourcers differentiates itself in the marketplace through its specific focus on the financial services market, working with small and medium-sized enterprises and projects in the Asia region.
Commenting on the office opening, Mr. Chan said “Our new Singapore location fills a white spot on the map and is testament to the city-state’s position as a global business and wealth management hub. I’m delighted that Fiona has joined us, and I’m confident that she has the skills, experience, and regional knowledge to continue to build upon the success we have worked hard and enjoyed thus far in Southeast Asia.”
