Flutterbies' Maureen Davis & Adam Daniel along with Shatell (Not An Airplane) and Peterson will trade songs and stories in a one hour, thirty minute concert with no intermission. The show is all ages. Admission for this show is $10 for 21 & Over, $15 for under 21. Tickets may be purchased at the door or at www.themintla.com. The Mint is located at 6010 West Pico in Los Angeles.

The Flutterbies recent credits include two original songs featured in the Oscar & Golden Globe-winning film THE DESCENDANTS starring George Clooney. Their lilting, guitar-driven single "Hummingbird Heart" and the country waltz "Faith In Rain" are Americana standouts in a primarily traditional Hawaiian film soundtrack. Music Connection described the group as "Bonnie Raitt on a blind date with Beck while being served a shot of Southern Comfort by Janis Joplin in a Louisiana juke joint" (joonbug.com). Together and as solo acts, Davis & Daniel boast over 200 song TV placements including most recently Adult Swim's Children's Hospital, House, Dexter and Entertainment Tonight. Davis began her performing career on Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's INTO THE WOODS.

Shatell, a Sacramento import, has created quite a buzz since arriving on the recording scene. Rolling Stone described his alt-country operettas as, "heartbreak autopsy, written in whiplash sequences of hope, breakdown and fragile resolution and scored with twang and bluegrass-style harmonies. It's as if Jeff Tweedy was writing for Wilco while still in Uncle Tupelo, with opera on his mind and a stopwatch in his hand."

Peterson, a recognizable Pop music icon for many years, will perform works from her solo songwriting project. She formed the popular 80's band The Bangles, with her sister Debbi Peterson, and Susanna Hoffs. After The Bangles disbanded, Peterson played with the Continental Drifters and The Psycho Sisters. In addition to performing their own material, The Psycho Sisters freelanced as celebrity backing singers (Steve Wynn's Fluorescent, Giant Sand's Center of the Universe). Peterson has also contributed harmony vocals to recordings by the Hoodoo Gurus, John Doe, Tom Petty and Belinda Carlisle. Additionally, she replaced Charlotte Caffey for a Go-Go's reunion tour.
