AFL & Prologix Distribution organized aprestigious seminar in the elegant Hotel Ramada, on 26th of November 2014. The American Fujikura Limited, a renowned entity for test and measurement equipment structured this open discussion for the first time ever in Dubai, UAE. The half day event agenda was mainly focusing on 'Testing Fiber Optic LAN/SANs'. Mr. Nicholas Cole, the EMEA Marketing & Application Specialist, spearheaded the seminar by talking in depth about LAN, the AFL product range for LAN and issues with testing and network.
The event started with a motivating keynote by Mr. Aditya Sahaya, Director - Business Development at Prologix Distribution, who delivered a precise narration about the business and its endowmentand how the organization has been persistently endeavoring to cater to the commitment towards the client and the customer requirements.
The seminar has high relevance in the present industry, due to the increasing complexity of network architectures designed to support web 2.0 applications, which has made testing LANs more exciting. AFL has designed a suite of products to help address these challenges supporting the needs of both installers and network owners. The primary objective of the seminar was to position these products as solutions that address market and application based challenges.
Theeventserved as a wonderful opportunity for the LAN installers and network owners who could achieve the best understanding about AFL and its product line. There was an active participation of audience from different states of UAE.
The most stimulating segment of the event was the 'LIVE DEMONSTRATION',where the Tier-1 and Tier-2 models of the test and measurement equipment and their capabilities were presented.
The key highlight of the event was on FOCIS products, the newest innovation to come out of AFL in the last few months. The sales team of Prologix Distribution and the AFL team was on standby to familiarize customers and clients with the various features and benefits of the product line. The Prologix team comprised of Mr. Sreejith, Mr. Sridhar and Mr. Ankit Kankane of the Test and Measurement division and Mr. Ketan Doshi, AVP - Showroom.
The AFL team comprised of Mr. Ahmed El Sakaty, the Middle East Sales Manager apart from Mr. Nicholas Cole.
The event concluded with the networking lunch. There was an overwhelming feedback received from the audience towards both the presentations and supervision of the event. The event was managed by Ms. Chaithali Punchathar, Marketing Manager at Prologix with the support of the Prologix Marketing Department.
