The annual convocation of The Delhi School of Communication was held on 20th August 2012, at PHD Chambers, New Delhi.
- (1888PressRelease) May 04, 2012 - The annual convocation of The Delhi School of Communication was held on 20th August 2012, at PHD Chambers, New Delhi. This is the 16th batch of Post Graduate students' convocating, after having obtained outstanding placements. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Deepak Jolly, Vice President, Coca Cola, India and South East Asia. Also present on the occasion were several other academicians such as Mr. Naresh Gupta, Associate Professor, Delhi University and industry leaders like Mr. Samir Kapur, Senior VP, Corporate Communications, Religare.
In their 16th year, DSC students continued the tradition of obtaining placements in premier Advertising, PR and media agencies such as Group M (Mindshare, Maxus), JWT, McCann Erikson, Genesis Burson Marsteller, Percept, Ferns & Petals to name a few. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jolly also gave away the apex awards on the occasion. The occasion also saw several other awards for subjects such as Public Relations, International Marketing and Strategic Marketing.
Launched in September 1995, DSC focuses on providing the communication & media industry with management professionals who are academically & professionally trained to be tomorrow's future leaders in the industry. The programme has a heavy interface with industry through the two - years. The size of each class is limited to 30 students so as to provide individual attention and nurture a student towards maximizing each one's potential.
