DSC invites applications for its two-year Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Communication (PGDPC). This is a dual qualification program. Alongside the PGDPC, students are also awarded a Masters in Mass Communication (MMC) from Guru Jambheshwar University. Specializations are offered in Advertising, Public Relations and Journalism and Marketing. The program is heavily integrated with industry where students are placed for internships (full day work experience) for more than 5 months and are placed for apprenticeships (half day work experience) between 3 to 6 months. Students earn attractive stipends alongside. Eligibility is graduation in any stream. Those graduating in 2012 are also eligible to apply. Applications forms can be submitted online or downloaded from www.dsc.edu.in. For admission to DSC, students have to clear either the MAT/CAT examination or sit for the DSC internal exam. This is followed by a Psychological Test and Personality Interview. Both the tests are available online from this year. DSC also offers scholarships of up to Rs 60,000/- and educational loans are also available for students.
