Registration will start at 9:30 a.m. The course, which will last from 10 a.m. through 11:30 a.m., will be held on Sat., Feb. 25th at the Palm Gardens at Doral located at 7310 NW 114 Avenue, Doral, Fla. This seminar is part of the statewide Continental Certified Educational Program Series and is open to any HOA board and committee member who wishes to attend.
As the leading Florida property management company, TCG shares best practices in the communities it serves to help enhance board effectiveness and efficiency. With a focus on the rights and responsibilities of their undertaken role, participants will be provided with guidance in the areas of service provision, physical asset management and becoming an effective advocate for the community. The course will discuss the functions of each board member, staff and management company, including how they work together. A review of documents that govern associations will also be highlighted. These include Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&R), Master Deeds, Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws and Resolutions.
This course is for current association board and committee members who want to better understand how efficient associations can and should function, as well as how to become a more effective member of his or her team.
