The Continental Group Partners with the Brickell Homeowners Association to Host the "2011 Florida Legislative Updates for Condo Associations"
The Continental Group (TCG) in conjunction with the Brickell Homeowners Association (BHA) will host the "2011 Florida Legislative Updates for Condo Associations" on Wednesday, June 22nd promptly at 7 p.m. at the Brickell on the River Condominium located at 31 SE 5th Street, Downtown Miami.
- (1888PressRelease) June 08, 2011 - Miami - Travis Moore, Lobbyist of Florida Capital Advocates and Legislative Representative for Community Associations Institute (CAI), will discuss the latest major policy changes, condo association regulations, and the potential implications of House Bill 1195. Residents, condo managers and volunteer condo Board of Director members are invited to attend and learn about future policies that will significantly impact their community and investments.
"This year's state legislative session was a frantic whirlwind of legislation which reached a broad spectrum of policy areas. This was a particularly challenging Session due to a multitude of freshmen legislators, new leadership teams running both the House and Senate and a new Gubernatorial Administration and Executive branch," said Moore. "I look forward to addressing those important community association issues which did pass, as well as discussing some of the major proposals which were brought forward and failed to gain enactment during the 2011 Florida Legislative Updates for Condo Associations event."
Moore will bring a unique and valuable "behind-the-scenes" knowledge of the governmental process. He has worked in both chambers of the Florida Legislature as Senior Legislative Assistant to the former Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, twenty-year member, Senator John Grant of Tampa and in the Florida House of Representative as the Chief Aide to Representative Earl Ziebarth. In these positions, Moore worked extensively with various committee staffs, state agencies and other members of the Legislature to develop and implement numerous pieces of legislation, public policy and budgetary initiatives.
TCG is the leading community association management company in Florida that works year-round with CAI to ensure the rights of all residents who live within communities governed by HOA or community associations.
The event is open to all members of the Brickell community and admission is free. For more information, please contact Natalie at nbrown ( @ ) brickellhomeowners dot com dot
