The Clearwater Community Volunteers Center Opens Up 2019 for Tampa Bay Nonprofits
The Clearwater Community Volunteers Center offers its facilities for nonprofits events and meetings at no cost to the nonprofit.
- Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) November 30, 2018 - The Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) Center announced that it is booking its 2019 calendar of events for local nonprofits and volunteer organizations’ activities. The Center is available for all Tampa Bay nonprofits to make use of its conference room for meetings, multipurpose room for seminars and gathering space for informal networking sessions at no cost as part of the Clearwater Community Volunteers’ efforts to bolster the growth of community-oriented groups.
In partnership with the Church of Scientology, the Clearwater Community Volunteers opened their new center in March of this year, which is located on the corner of Drew Street and North Fort Harrison Ave.
Since the center’s opening in April 2018, 45 different nonprofits have worked with the center to plan and carry out over 650 charitable events and activities. The activities vary from fundraisers to weekly and monthly group meetings to educational workshops.
The center’s staff also provide a one-on-one service to nonprofits with group projects to help them achieve their individual missions.
“With the CCV Center we work to facilitate the growth of local non-profits by giving them an event venue and helping them personally,” said Clemence Chevrot, Director for the CCV Center. “Ensuring that these nonprofits are increasing their area of influence is the goal of our program. We do this through raw support such as event planning for successful events or projects and educational events of our own where nonprofit leaders can learn the tools to successfully operating a nonprofit.”
