The Chef's Academy Graduate Named Executive Chef At Famous Cupcake Shop
Rhiannon Spafford Named To Top Position At Cupcake Couture.
- Indianapolis, IN (1888PressRelease) January 18, 2012 - The Chef's Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 109-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers 40 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced that recent graduate, Rhiannon Spafford, has been promoted to executive chef at Cupcake Couture, a gourmet bakeshop in Baton Rouge, La. Well-known in the area for its sweets, Cupcake Couture provided an internship as a baker for Spafford while she completed her education with The Chef's Academy. During that time, she baked several hundred cupcakes for a Hollywood actor and took part in the bakery's tryout for a nationally-televised cooking show.
