The Canadian Cloud Council Announces Founding Board of Directors and Advisory Committee
National not-for-profit association shares list of board and advisory committee members.
- (1888PressRelease) July 24, 2012 - Robert Hart, President and CEO of the Canadian Cloud Council, is pleased to announce that Industry Canada has issued the organization a "Certification of Incorporation" that formally incorporates the Canadian Cloud Council Association as a Canadian national not-for-profit. The issuance of this certificate will be listed in the next Corporations Canada's online Monthly Transactions report.
In alignment with announcing its formal incorporation under the "Canada Not-for-Profit Incorporations Act (NFP ACT)", the organization is pleased to announce its founding board of directors and advisory committee. "The Canadian Cloud Council has established a talented, diverse and experienced leadership team that is earnestly committed to advancing and accelerating the Canadian cloud agenda," noted Mr. Hart. "There are a number of very unique skill sets within our organization that will have an exponential impact on ensuring Canada is positioned to lead the globe in the field of cloud computing. I am honoured to be a part of this very exciting team," concluded Hart.
In addition to the Board of Directors, the Canadian Cloud Council has also established an expert Advisory Committee and is in the process of creating national working groups in areas such as: government cloud, privacy and security, public cloud computing and data residency.
