The Brand New Edition Of Beyond Beauty Asean Bangkok Is Launched Today
The fifth edition of the largest beauty trade show in Southeast Asia, Beyond Beauty ASEAN Bangkok (“BBAB”), opens today at Hall 5-8 at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center. The growth and development of this beauty trade illustrates the vitality of the Southeast Asian beauty economy.
- (1888PressRelease) September 22, 2018 - Bangkok, Thailand - The success of BBAB is largely due to the strong support from the Thai Ministry of Commerce, the Federation of Thai Industries, Thai Cosmetic Manufacturers Association, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Bangkok, Thailand, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (“KOTRA”).

Two shows under one roof
For the first time in 2018, two shows under, — “BBAB Finished Products” and “BBAB Supply Chain” are bringing together over 500 exhibitors, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Poland, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and USA to serve the entire cosmetic production chain, in adition to showcasing the most innovative brands and products as well as the latest beauty technology.
Strong regional support
In collaboration with the Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines (CCIP); Persatuan Perusahaan Kosmetika Indonesia (Perkosmi); Vietnam Association of Essential Oils; Aromatherapy and Cosmetics (VOCA); Myanmar Cosmetics Association; and the Laos Cosmetics Association, the BBAB Buyer Program continues to bring from neighboring countries, distributors and manufacturers to source for new products and suppliers. 236 buyers including groups from Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Vietnam will participate in the matchmaking meetings during the three days.

Country of Honor
BBAB is honored to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relationship between Korea and Thailand. The Country of Honor, Korea, presents 150 companies exhibiting at BBAB, supported by KOTRA. In addition, there will be an “All about K-beauty conference” to present the latest K-beauty trends, as well as renowned blogger,Daisy from Korea for demonstrations.
Onsite Activities
The first edition of “Cosmetic trend in Asian emerging markets: China, Thailand and Indonesia” will be taking place at BBAB.
Visitors are able to experience a series of conferences and activities during the three days, including the “Hair technician workshop” and “Salon management workshop”, targeted at hairdressers and salon owners. The “BBAB Supply Chain” Conference, OEM workshop and new packaging technology conference have been produced with brands and manufacturers in mind. The “2nd ASEAN Retail Conference”, “4th BBAB Trend Conference”, “2nd Semi-permanent Makeup Competition” will continue to bring visitors both knowledge and unique experiences.
