The Bluebeards Revenge Seeks 'Manly' Charity to Support in 2012
The Bluebeards Revenge, the luxury men's grooming brand, is looking for a charity partner for 2012.
- (1888PressRelease) June 22, 2011 - Lee Mill, Devon - Leading British male grooming brand The Bluebeards Revenge has began the search for a charity to support in 2012.
Since its launch in the summer of 2010, the Devon based company has supported Firefighters charities but is looking to diversify next year, as marketing and PR Manager Nick Gibbens explains: "The Bluebeards Revenge set out its stall from launch to be the manliest male grooming brand on the shelves of the world's retailers.
"From the outset we wanted to support a charity that represented our core values of rugged manliness and the Firefighters charity was a perfect match but it would seem to be time to move on."
"We were always of the view that we would look to share our success with a variety of charities giving each one a two-year period to benefit from a partnership with our rapidly growing brand."
But Nick is also keen to point out that they are going to be picky when it comes to selecting a charity to support.
"We make no bones about it - we are a brand that appeals to 'Real Men' and are looking to support a charity that reflects our brand values and benefits people with some proper get up and go!
"If there are any charities out there who think that they fit the bill then they really should get in touch so we can include them in the selection process.
"We are also looking for a hard working, innovative charity partner with fresh ideas. We are even prepared to put their logo on the iconic Bluebeards Revenge box."
Charities looking for sponsorship should visit http://www.bluebeards-revenge.co.uk/charity and register their details.
Applications are accepted until September 01, 2011. A short-list of up to five charities will be selected and invited to attend a formal pitch presentation in Le Mill, Devon. The winning charity will be announced in early October.
Designed by a real life Blue Beard who was bored to death with being a Desperate Dan look-alike, the flagship product in The Bluebeards Revenge range is a paraben free, premium quality shaving cream with added ingredients like Decelerine™ to specifically reduce hair growth and combat tough stubble.

The shaving cream contains Decelerine™, a unique ingredient that targets hair follicle cells and weakens new hair formation. It has proved to be effective in inhibiting hair growth, decreasing length and density of unwanted hair and also providing a soothing, moisturising and anti-inflammatory effect on the skin.
As well as slowing down beard re-growth, Decelerine™ relieves and soothes the effects of shaving (especially skin prone to irritation and dryness) by providing moisturisation and protection to facilitate its regeneration.
