Medical Economics' October issue reveals top 100 EHR vendors.

The publication by Medical Economics, the first of its kind, provides an insight into the most prominent EHR vendors in the United States. Having analyzed 729 ONC certified vendors, Medical Economics chose the best 100 based on a number of differentiating factors such as platform functionality, capability, pricing, company history, financial strength and others.
The companies featured on the Top 100 list were lauded for their product development, innovation and the ability to meet the next challenges of interoperability posed by Meaningful Use Stage 2, the CMS funded EHR incentive program.
According to estimates, nearly half of US physicians are likely to change their current EHRs. In 2014, this report by Medical Economics will serve as a guide for physicians looking to switch EHRs or join the healthcare IT blitz as new entrants.
