With COVID-19 safety measures in place to ensure the best experience for everyone, the F1 weekend in 2021 will offer the same nail-biting on-track drama and off-track excitement it is known for. While 2020 faced the brunt of the COVID-19 pandemic, 2021 seems to be different. Yas Marina Circuit has been granted the “Go Safe” certification, and a set of safety measures have been established for all guests to follow.
Along with the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, visitors at Yas Marina Circuit can witness non-stop on-track action at the Yas Marina Circuit with the 72nd running of the FIA Formula One World Championship, the incredible FIA Formula 2, and FIA Formula 4 UAE. In view of the pandemic, guests can expect the Driver Meet & Greet and the Pit Lane Walks with a Track Walk on day 1 of the four-day event. Additionally, ticketed members will get to access the oasis area reserved for their zone.

All zones will be set to offer varying but equally stunning views of the races - be it the tightest hairpin from the North Grandstand, the exhilarating start and finish line drama from the Main Grandstand, or a 360° view from the trackside terrace. The Paddock Club and the Main Grandstand will also have exclusive access to the F1 Fanzone.
Alongside the on-track action, attendees can look forward to the Yasalam After Race Concerts in the Etihad Park, as well as the off-track entertainment in the Oasis areas which includes game zones, food trucks, and beverage gardens. An exclusive Oasis is available for each zone, filled with entertainment, food, and beverages all around. Guests can expect an edge-of-the-seat action on all days of the event combined with non-stop off-track entertainment.
Yas Marina Circuit’s Super Parks Pass is an add-on visitors can consider if they want to double the excitement with an unlimited 5-day access to Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, and Warner Bros. World.

After-Race Events
There is a lot more to look forward to after the races. The open-air Etihad Park will host four of the biggest names in music throughout the race weekend. Owing to COVID-19 safety measures, attendees will only be able to visit one of the four concerts, all featuring AAA international artists.
One-day ticket holders will be able to enjoy the concert on the evening of their ticket, while two-day and three-day ticket holders can choose one concert from amongst the four. Following a day of nail-biting on-track thrill, guests get to enjoy an evening with the best in music in the open-air park.
Performers who have previously graced the stage include the likes of Beyonce, Pink, Guns ‘N’ Roses, Lana Del Rey, Gucci Mane, and more. Performers for 2021 after-race concerts will be announced over the course of the upcoming months. Advance windows will be available for ticket holders and concert bookings will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Single transaction ticket bookings are important for attendees who would like to be seated together.

COVID-19 Safety Measures
All attendees can rest assured about the hygiene and safety at the Yas Marina Circuit, supported by the “Go Safe” certification from the Department of Culture and Tourism. Guests are also expected to maintain these standards by following our precautionary measures.
All guests are expected to be fully vaccinated at least 28 days before the event. Only vaccinations approved by the UAE government will be considered. Additionally, guests are expected to provide a negative PCR test within 48 hours of entry. Face masks must be worn at all times and guests below 12 years of age will not be allowed.

All guests will be expected to comply with temperature checks at the entrance. Each visitor will also be required to have the Al Hosn app on their phones. Their status on the app is expected to be green, indicating their COVID-19 status as safe.

F1 2021 Tickets
Formula 1 tickets are now available on the official Yas Marina Circuit website. There are a variety of options available and visitors can choose a package suitable for them. Additionally, all the packages come with a 1-year My Yas Membership. People visiting in a group and looking to be seated together should book all seats in a single transaction.

As part of safety measures, the refund policy for tickets has also been updated. In case the event is postponed due to COVID-19 prior to commencement, guests can carry their F1 tickets forward for F1 2022 or request a refund.
