The Access Connection Releases their Mission Statement
The creation of a mission statement defines the company it represents. The Access Connection has proudly released their mission statement to the public.
- Rochester, NY (1888PressRelease) June 19, 2012 - Rochester, New York - The Access Connection (TAC) finalized their mission statement and has decided to make it public. The mission statement is a statement of pride and support for individuals seeking jobs.
"The Access Connection creates meaningful job placements for Deaf individuals through ongoing relationships with employers, training, and empowerment in the workplace"
A mission statement is to wrap up all the desired goals of any organization. For The Access Connection, their mission statement does more than that for them. It provides guidance for future board members. They wanted to be sure that board members will always know what to do in hard times. Too frequently, mission statements are not written in such fashion. When that happens, organizations forget why they were founded.
The Access Connection intends on always serving a specific group of people, Deaf individuals. They have been asked before if they would branch out to other disabilities. With their mission statement, it is clear that they won't. At the end of the day, The Access Connection is perceived as a head-hunter/recruitment agency with a twist.
The Access Connection, best known as TAC, is a non-profit organization that strives to destroy barriers that Deaf individuals face when applying for jobs. They seek to create lasting relationships with the employer to continue to support the employee throughout their employment. The Access Connection believes that their approach is much more employee centric than recruitment or job coach companies. Four professionals founded The Access Connection in Rochester, NY on March 6, 2012.
