- (1888PressRelease) March 17, 2020 - The Academy of St. Louise is pleased to announce it has recently become associated with the Archdiocese of St. Louis. The Academy is proud that through this new partnership, it will be able to carry on in its mission of providing the optimal amount of care for students with disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum, students with learning disorders, students with developmental delays, those with speech/writing/language disorders and students with emotional disorders.
According to Archbishop Carlson, the recommendation to become associated with the Archdiocese of St. Louis is due in large part to the Archdiocese being able to provide the Academy with a stable faith environment. “Having learnt of the education and formation imparted by the teachers, staff and parents of the Academy of St. Louis, having seen the fruit of their instruction in the faith and successes of their students and having reviewed the statutes proposed for the Association, I wish to provide for the stable continuance and further flourishing of this good work by uniting it more closely to the authority of the Church,” stated Archbishop Carlson in making the announcement.
