JIMTOF and the International Exhibition on Manufacturing Technology (IMTS) in Chicago, the International Machine Tool Show in Europe (EMO) and the China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT) also called the world's four major machine tools exhibition. It is held every two years and is held alternately in Osaka and Tokyo. Since JIMTOF has been held in Tokyo since 2000, it has been 28th. JIMTOF 2018 will have about 900 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions. The number of visitors is expected to reach 165,000.
