Test & Measurement industry: Connexium's Arbitrary Waveform Generator appraised by ONERA (The French Aerospace Laboratory)
CONNEXIUM now offers its first 14-bit single-channel arbitrary waveform generator (XWG) that can generate wide-bandwidth and high-resolution signals for testing satellite, radar, telecom, and defence communication equipments.
- (1888PressRelease) October 25, 2011 - With a full user bandwidth up to 1250MHz, and excellent dynamic performances, the XWG is the best stimulus solution for ever-increasing measurement challenges. Key attributes of this new instrument include: 14-bit vertical resolution, sampling data rate operation from 800MSPS up to 2500MSPS, large output stage bandwidth from DC to 3GHz, excellent noise performance and high linearity (Noise Power Ratio: 45dB, Spurious Free Dynamic Range: 65dB, Carrier to Interference: 68dB).
The XWG allows to play signal waveforms in a continuous loop. The XWG accepts data patterns of up to 2048 mega samples. Data files can be designed from modelling software tools and then exported to ASCII formatted text files.
Supplied with a complete user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) executable for Windows-based computers, the XWG is controlled through a Gigabit Ethernet communication link implementing Connexium's UDP/IP protocol. Remote networking operations are then supported.
The XWG is packaged in a 19-inch, size-1U industrial-class chassis with EMI/RFI shielding.
