Terence Cook Named to The Board of The Mid-Hudson Children's Museum

- (1888PressRelease) September 11, 2011 - NEW YORK - Terence Cook, MPA and manager at Fiscal Management Associates, LLC (FMA), was named to serve as an at-large member on the board of the Mid-Hudson Children's Museum.
The Mid-Hudson Children's Museum's mission is to enlighten minds through a fun and creative learning environment where hands-on experiences spark curiosity, discovery and the joy of exploration. Their goal is to be an extraordinary educational beacon in the Hudson River Valley where discovery leads to lifelong learning for all.

With more than 20 years of experience in non-profit management and local government, Cook focuses on fiscal accountability, governance and evaluation. At FMA, he works to design and implement fiscal, reporting and oversight systems and processes for non-profit organizations, among other responsibilities.
Cook is an adjunct professor at Columbia University School of Continuing Education where he lectures on non-profit fiscal management. He also serves as Treasurer of Food of Life/Comida de Vida Food Pantry in Dutchess County, N.Y. Cook holds a Master of Public Administration from the Robert F. Wagner School at New York University and received a Bachelor of Arts in education from South Bank University in London.
