Temecula Gears Up For The 2011 Temecula Spring Rod Run
Excitement is in the air as the City of Temecula gears up for the 2011 Temecula Spring Rod Run, set for March 11 & 12. This year we are expecting over 700 cars, and many brand new and exciting features will debut at this event.
- Riverside-San Bernardino, CA (1888PressRelease) March 07, 2011 - Temecula's stunning new Civic Center and Town Hall will be the centerpiece for the 2011 Temecula Spring Rod Run. New activities and attractions will be spotlighted and many celebrities are scheduled to appear.
A few of the new attractions to debut will be:
• "The Little Rodders Zone" with fun and games for kids to play, featuring "Big Mama Earth"
• "The Celebrity Zone" - including Grand Marshalls Josh and John Harris from the hit TV show The "Deadliest Catch, cast members from Survivor, Elvis Strange from the Speed Channel's show BullRun, and Cover girl, TV and film actress Bridgette Tomarchio - all will be available for autographs and photos
• Digital artist Tod Wallace from Digital Dream Arts will display some of his automotive works and be set up in front of the Civic Center, where attendees can watch him create original pieces using entrants as models
Music will be provided by a variety of live bands throughout the day from the stage directly in front of the new City Hall, and don' forget the Friday Night Cruise through Old Town as entrants take their turn cruising Front Street. Show 'n Shine and judging will be Saturday starting at 8:00 am.
