TECHNOMARK(R) stamps its mark with IDI(R)
TECHNOMARK®, of France, an expert in traceability and permanent identification solutions, has designed an innovative and intelligent marking system. This new concept is based on the sophisticated control of an electromagnet, which ensures perfect marking and guarantees repeatability whatever the form, surface condition or material to be marked.
- (1888PressRelease) September 09, 2010 - IDI® enables intelligent marking management by means of a completely original technique. The distance between the stylus and the marked item is managed automatically by the electromagnet control, which supplies the ideal impact force for producing consistently high-quality marking. TECHNOMARK® offers this software solution in two specific modes: IDI® marking and IDI® maintenance.
The IDI® Marking mode electronically compensates for any variation in distance between the part to be marked and the marking tool. This is the only solution currently available on the market which is able to mark irregularly shaped items, such as cylinders and corrugated (or inclined) parts. It is also an effective solution for marking Datamatrix® codes.
The IDI® Maintenance mode informs the user of any deviation in the marking following wear on the equipment over time, faulty adjustment, a damaged tool or a broken stylus. This solution is perfectly suited to marking equipment that is integrated into an automated production line. This functionality makes it possible to manage a bank of marking machines and to inform the operator if any maintenance operation is needed.
TECHNOMARK® had already revolutionised marking technology with its innovative concept, Multi4®, explains the company. This is a fully modular machine, capable of working in four distinct configurations. Multi4® is portable for marking medium-size and very large items, or items that are difficult to access. It can also be fixed onto a bench for marking smaller items.
Multi4®, as a portable or fixed multipurpose tool for marking all kinds of items, can also be integrated into an automated production line. Simple to use, flexible and requiring moderate investment, Multi4® is a helpful solution for meeting various identification and traceability needs.
The indelible-marking equipment designed and manufactured by TECHNOMARK® uses dot peen marking and scribing technologies, which meet the standards and requirements of numerous business sectors.
