Technology Conservation Group, Inc. Initiates Local Outreach Program
Technology Conservation Group, Inc. has awarded a scholarship to a local high school student and initiated an outreach program.
- (1888PressRelease) April 30, 2011 - Lecanto, FL -Technology Conservation Group, Inc. has created a local outreach program to support and educate the community on the benefits of recycling. Its flagship project, an annual $5,000 scholarship, was recently awarded to a Citrus County high school student for scoring the highest in an essay contest on the topic of recycling.
In an effort to encourage the public to recycle and raise awareness of the harmful materials that end up in landfills when electronics are disposed of improperly, Technology Conservation Group, Inc. will visit schools to educate children, distribute educational recycling materials, and hold facility tours for local schools.
