Techno Cultural event Techacme'2018 at OGI, Bhopal
Oriental Campus ignited with the inaugural ceremony of the 3-day Techno Cultural event, Tech Acme 2018, in association with Tata Consultancy Services as the Knowledge partner.
- (1888PressRelease) February 23, 2018 - The event started with the Saraswati Vandana and lighting of the lamp, which was preceded by the floral welcome of the dignitaries. Welcome address was delivered by Director, OIST. After general inauguration, a brief cultural program and a movie was showcased covering all the events.
The program witnessed the gracious presence of Chief guest Dr. Avanish Kumar Shrivastav, Director, AMPRI, guest of Honor, Dr Avanish Chaturvedi, Asst. Commi., Tribal welfare Dept, Govt. of MP, special guests Shri Rajesh Sahni, Retd. SP, Information Beaureau, Shri Mukesh Sahni, Retd. SP, CBI, Mr. Rupesh Sizariya, Program Manager, TCS, Bhopal, Mr. Rakesh Shrivastava, Dist. Scholarship Incharge, Shri Praveen Thakral, Chairman, Directors, Deans and Heads of the Departments of Oriental Group of Institutes.
Shri Praveen Thakral felicitated the guests with a memento.
Chief guest Dr. Avanish Kumar Shrivastav motivated the students to be focused in their life, perform well in all the events and as an engineer contribute to the growth and development of the nation. He said that one should become a fanatic for achievements.
Dr. Avanish Chaturvedi addressed the gathering guided the students for a better future and congratulated the Coordinators of Tech Acme committee, and the entire team for a grand and a wonderful inaugural ceremony.
Mr. Rupesh Sizariya talked of the importance of such events in an education Institute for the over all development of the students.
On the day one the Institute witnessed many events like Assemble & Dissemble, Lan Gaming, Bug Fix, 50 rupee venture, Model presentation, Robotics, Scavenger Hunt, Art Junkies, Face Painting and Talent Starlight, Water Rocket Propulsion, Collage Making, Mock Parliament, Laser Strike and Techno Snap Shot Hunt. The Day ended with the star attraction that is Fashion Show.
Approximately 6000 students from different colleges have already registered for the various events of the fest. Students participated in the events with full enthusiasm.
Apart from this there were 500 entries in Lan Gaming, 400 entries in Talent Star Light, Model presentation had more than 100 models, and in Art Junkies also around 150 participants showcased there art.
In upcoming days more events like Circuit Design, En Craft, Paper Presentation, Robotics, App Presentation etc will be conducted. Not only this, there will be a workshops on Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality, Sixth Sense & Brain Wave Robotics, Cloud Computing & Dev-ops and Internet of Things.
