tebcan.com launches first medical map in MENA region to make healthcare accessible for all region’s patients, by offering the first comprehensive map of medical care providers in Jordan.
- (1888PressRelease) January 10, 2019 - In another breakthrough and as part of tebcan’s continuous cycle of achievements, the company has announced the launch and availability of the Medical Map component as a new addition to its flagship medical platform. The first comprehensive map of medical care providers in the region is part of tebcan’s efforts to make healthcare more accessible to patients, enrich the Arabic medical content and create an electronic healthcare provider database.
tebcan is the leading Healthcare platform in the region, it provides effective e-Health and medical tourism solutions for patients and medical practitioners.
This new addition to its flagship platform and available on its patient mobile apps, the interactive medical map helps guide patients towards the right medical care providers. Once patients launch the medical map, they will be presented with a map view with medical care providers locations on the map.

Patients can search for medical care providers on the map by type (doctor, hospital, medical center, lab, imaging center, pharmacy), location, medical specialty, and others. Providing a live Medical Map that shows nearby clinics, hospitals, available emergency doctors, a heat map for clinics on duty, in addition to the ability to filter results upon nearby, opening hours, distance, etc.
“Our interactive medical map offers a clinic brief, opening hours and an option to immediate book your appointment, something you can’t find anywhere else in the region. We encourage patients to register with the most active medical map for free and benefit from this new technology,” Al-Tarawneh added.
With this new addition, patients will find it easier to reach medical care providers nearby or in a selected location, view medical care provider’s availability, book their appointments directly from within the map, and to get directions to the medical facility.
