Tekshapers team has attended the Conference on Digital Marketing which was organized by NASSCOM on 30th May'18 where leading industry players have shared their experience on digital marketing growth.
- (1888PressRelease) June 02, 2018 - Team Tekshapers actively participated in an interactive Session on Digital Marketing organized by NASSCOM at Noida on 30th May’18. A panel of experts from industry & academic sector addressed the attendees on various trends & practices of Digital Marketing.
The emminent speakers of the session include Mr. Jagdish Mitra, Chief Strategy Officer and Head Growth Factories (Tech Mahindra), Prof. (Dr.) Bikramjit Rishi, Associate Professor Marketing (IMT), Mr. Saurabh Pandit, Head - Digital Marketing Specialist & Alliances Team (Adobe), Mr. Madhukar Uniyal, Solutions Consulting Director, Oracle Marketing Cloud India (Oracle), Mr. Sumon K Chakrabarti, Founder & CEO, Buffalo Soldiers Media & Strategists.
Mr. Mitra discussed the three threats of digital marketing, Technology, Talent & Time. He shared how customer engagement & experience is responsible for 30-40% more revenue generation. Prof. (Dr.) Bikramjit Rishi shared how important it is to understand the customer persona before designing the digital marketing strategy. He emphasized on making customer engagement your marketing objective instead of getting leads. While addressing the audience, Mr. Saurabh Pandit shared how marketers need to figure out the preferred channel of their target clients and talk to them on those preferred channel. It may be possible that your target audience is on Pinterest & Instagram in place of Facebook so you have to be present & connect with your TA at that platform. Mr. Sumon advised the marketers on following new trends as Digital is evolving at a very fast pace, if we won’t change with it, we won’t be able to survive in this competitive market. He also shared how storytelling is the new trend in digital marketing and how marketers can leverage it. Mr. Madhukar Uniyal discussed the various myths of digital marketing.
It was an interactive session where the speakers & panelists discussed how important innovation & change is in this digital era especially for IT & ITeS companies.
