  • Phoenix-Mesa, AZ (1888PressRelease) February 21, 2020 - TEAM Arizona, a motorcycle rider training center, announced a special Sportbike event at their Gilbert, AZ, headquarters 36 N. William Dillard Drive on April 22nd from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. The event is open to the public and free of charge. This special road racing themed event is a celebration of the historic Isle of Man TT motorcycle race and a tribute to special guest of honor and TT racer, Pete Murray.

    Pete Murray is an American road racer and the sole Arizona entrant to the Isle of Man TT race. Phoenix-based Pete Murray is an Embry-Riddle Prescott graduate and an airline pilot for American Airlines. 2020 will be Murray’s sixth appearance at the storied race.

    The event on April 22 at the TEAM Arizona facility, a 5-acre lighted site dedicated to motorcycle rider safety, will feature a motorcycle ride-in, an Isle of Man TT scooter track, a motorcycle dealership midway, food trucks and special guests. The outdoor event is family friendly.

    Steeped in history and tradition, the Isle of Man TT motorcycle race is among the most famous races in the world. Since its inception in 1907 the annual TT ( Tourist Trophy) event is regarded as the world’s most dangerous motorsport event.

    TEAM Arizona is the premier motorcycle rider training organization in Arizona. Operating for more than 30 years in Arizona, TEAM Arizona has motorcycle safety courses to obtain a motorcycle license (endorsement) or enhance rider skills.
