TCG Presents Free Educational Seminar in Aventura for Condominium Board Member Certification

Registration will start at 6:30 p.m. and the course will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9th at the Peninsula Condominium located at 3201 NE 183 Street, Aventura, Fla. This seminar is part of the statewide Continental Certified Educational Program Series and is open to any condominium board member who wishes to attend.

This course will cover the most critical aspects of condominium operations, and will provide guidance for board members who want to better understand how to manage the day-to-day operations of their condominium communities in 2012. Topics to be discussed include: Demystifying the budget and reserve process, accurate financial reporting, bids and contracts, correct records maintenance and handling owner records requests, Chapter 718 and the Condominium Act.
Upon completion of the course, a TCG instructor will present newly elected or appointed condominium board members with a certificate of completion that satisfies new state educational requirements for their position.
