Tavalon Tea Sponsors the International Emmy Awards
NYC-based tea company featured at 2011 International Emmy Awards.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) November 16, 2011 - Tavalon Tea will be the official beverage sponsor at the 2011 International Emmy Awards on November 19th and 20th. Tavalon will be providing tea and tea based cocktails to nominees both at the festival and at the after party on the following Monday.
Tavalon representatives will be hosting a Tea Lounge at the Sofitel Hotel and will be serving a variety of tea blends at the weekend event including Genius Iced Tea, a white tea with peppermint and Korean plums, Tea Sparkler, a tea + champagne infusion for the International Emmy Awards Kickoff Toast, and SmarTEAni, Genius Iced Tea shaken with Vodka. Tavalon has also prepared four special vodka-based tea cocktails for the after party on the following Monday.
The International Emmy World Television Festival is held once a year in New York by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to promote excellence in international television programming. Founded in 1969, this organization presents the International Emmy Award to the best television programs produced, and initially aired, outside the U.S. Today, there are fifteen different categories for the International Emmy Awards including best Documentary, Drama Series, and TV Movie/Mini-Series.
