(1888PressRelease) December 08, 2009 - Tangerine Mastering in Weehawken New Jersey recently mastered the debut album by Cheval Sombre. Mastering engineer Andreas Meyer conducted the sessions and worked direct with Cheval Sombre. One-man band Cheval Sombre emerged in the early 2000s, writing and recording songs in an apartment studio in NY. After sending initial recordings to Sonic Boom (of Spacemen 3 / Spectrum), recording sessions with Sonic took place in March 2006, in Jersey City, NJ. Further sessions followed over the next two years, both in New York and in Rugby, with guest musicians Dean Wareham & Britta Phillips. To date Cheval Sombre has released three UK-only 7 singles all of which sold out immediately and are now collectors items.
