- Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) July 03, 2013 - Bob Reina, Founder & CEO of Talk Fusion-a rapidly growing global video communications company-recently announced that as part of his company's commitment to giving back to the community, the company has made a $10,0000 donation to the non-profit organization SAILvation.
Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, SAILvation provides an otherwise unobtainable sailing and educational experience for socio-economically challenged teenage boys and girls by taking them to sea aboard the 75-foot steel-hulled tall ship schooner, Grand Nellie. During the three-day sailing adventure, youths gain knowledge of both sailing and the sea while improving their confidence and building valuable communication and collaborative skills. The organization also offers one-day boating excursions to independently functioning handicapped individuals of all ages.
"We're very proud to be able to support this unique organization," said Bob Reina. "SAILvation offers a life-changing experience for these kids-it's something that can really make a difference in their lives." Talk Fusion VP of Training & Development Allison Roberts added, "Talk Fusion is committed to bettering our community through special programs such as this. We encourage other corporate sponsors, volunteers or individuals-who are also interested in supporting area youth-to visit www.sailvation.org ."
