Thrill of the Hunt, a company that exclusively develops scavenger hunts for public and private events, announced the launch of the first ever April Fool's Scavenger Hunt Challenge. The announcement came through Thrill of the Hunt's Scavenger Hunt Fun Blog!, on April 1, 2016. The challenge will run for one year, from April 1, 2016 at 12:00 am EST, to April 1, 2017 at 11:59 pm EST. Anyone can join the challenge at any time, however Thrill of the Hunt recommends joining the April Fool's Scavenger Hunt Challenge early, to ensure all requirements are met prior to the deadline. The April Fool's Scavenger Hunt Challenge will spotlight creative individuals, and will be used as a vehicle to review possible employment candidates.
"This challenge may seem like a big joke, which the results are, but the road to accomplishing the tasks involve a great deal of creativity and skill. The April Fool's Scavenger Hunt contains thirteen separate themed challenges to be completed prior to the deadline of April 1, 2017 at 11:59 pm EST. The challenge is based on a point system, with the opportunity to gain bonus points and to derail other participants. Some of the challenges are detailed, while others are open to interpretation and the freedom to use complete creativity. The challenges are a mix of traditional marketing efforts coupled with social media and online tools for maximum exposure. Each completed challenge may be as simple or complex as desired, using every legal means available. While the April Fool's Scavenger Hunt Challenge is a structured and monitored series of hoaxes, they're to be completed in good taste, showing respect, no exceptions. Final judging on all aspects of each individual challenge, the winners, and determining the usage of good ethics, will be solely ruled on by
Thrill of the Hunt.
