Taiwan, Another Must- See Asian Tourist Destination for Filipinos
Taiwan's tourism industry is actively on the rise. The Taiwan Tourism Bureau recently held a two day Tourism event, inviting Filipinos to visit and experience Taiwan's numerous natural tourist attractions, cultural diversity and delectable food.
- (1888PressRelease) August 29, 2011 - Manila, Philippines - A colorful and festive Tourism exhibit took place at the Robinson's Galleria Activity Center in Ortigas, Manila last July 27 and 28. This is an effort of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau to promote and invite Filipinos to visit and experience Taiwan. Cheap Taiwan tour packages were showcased by PTAA -member travel agencies from the Philippines.
The event featured dances of Taiwan's aborigines. There were also craftsmen who make dough figurines and candy sculptures that certainly impressed Filipinos as they display their skills on the spot. These dough figurines and candy sculptures were given to those lucky mall goers who waited in line.
During the program, audience were asked to answer different trivia questions about Taiwan, and whoever answers get to take home different variety of local delicacies from various parts of Taiwan and other prizes. This activity truly liven up the crowd and encouraged more passerbys and shoppers to see the exhibit.
Different Taiwan tourist destinations serve as their stall backdrop to promote the main attractions of various regions. Taiwan Tourism Bureau definitely got the Filipinos interested to travel and visit Taiwan.
