SYNERGY HomeCare Supports Oncology Centers with Decorative Chemo Cap Donations
Caps to Benefit and Comfort Chemotherapy Patients in North Orange County.
- Orange County, CA (1888PressRelease) May 08, 2013 - SYNERGY HomeCare of North Orange County introduced today its "Caps of Caring" program, which will facilitate ongoing donations of homemade decorative chemo caps to selected oncology centers in the North Orange County area. These caps provide headwear for people receiving radiation or chemotherapy treatments.
The caps are hand-stitched by Santa Maria resident Nancy Andersen, "Grammy" to eight grandchildren and creator of over one thousand caps. The colors, shades, and combinations vary from bright colors to neutral color schemes.
"Nancy's goal is to lift spirits by bringing beauty, happiness and fun to people going through a trying time," says SYNERGY HomeCare of North Orange County President Curtis Hanz. "Her empathy and compassion are clearly seen through the creativity, quality and detail she puts into each piece."
