Swisscom wins the Gigaton Award in Durban
Swisscom received the international 2011 Gigaton Award in the telecommunications category this weekend at the World Climate Summit in Durban. The prize is awarded every year by a jury composed of leading figures from business and science.

Swisscom pursues ambitious goals for increasing energy efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions and covers all its power needs through renewable energy. The jury was especially impressed by Swisscom's achievements in the field of green ICT.
