SWEET SOUL RECORDS Reaches Japan Music Distribution Agreement With, New Zealand-based Neo-Soul Singer, Sacha Vee and Sacha Vee Productions Ltd
An exclusive agreement has been reached between SWEET SOUL RECORDS and Sacha Vee Productions Ltd. This agreement will allow for Japan-wide physical distribution of Sacha Vee's self-title debut EP, "Sacha Vee." Sacha released her EP featuring the single 'Patience' which was rated No.1 on the NZ Bnet station RDU for several weeks.
- (1888PressRelease) March 02, 2011 - Tokyo, Japan: Today, SWEET SOUL RECORDS, parent company lifesound, Inc., officially announced that an agreement has be reached with New Zealand-based Neo-Soul singer Sacha Vee and Sacha Vee Productions Ltd., for nationwide distribution of Sacha's debut EP "Sacha Vee."
Sacha Vee is a unique vocalist making waves in the New Zealand music scene. The gutsy sound emerging from the blonde 25 year old is that of the classic black soul divas of the day, being commonly likened to Jill Scott and Alice Russell.

With her Dutch/West Indian background, Sacha was surrounded by music from an early age. Her talent was discovered at the age of 16 when she was awarded 'Best Vocalist' at the much-respected National Jazz Festival. Since then she has been making her presence known, performing at some of the best music festivals nationwide. Sacha has also opened for some of the most well known musicians in the NZ scene, e.g. the likes of Shapeshifter and Hollie Smith. She has also collaborated with household names such as Pacific Heights and most recently Benny Tones, 'Chrysalis' she features on the music video soon to be released in Europe.
"Sacha Vee" Japan Edition will be released in Japan under the SWEET SOUL RECORDS label with the release schedule in April 2011.
