Swarovski to create Live Window Art Event
Swarovski is collaborating with illustrative duo 'Good Wives and Warriors' to create a piece of window art to be viewed in-store and online live.
- (1888PressRelease) July 03, 2012 - Swarovski is set to preview its AW12 collection 'Kingdom of Jewels' in a live window art event in London.
The event will be a collaboration between the brand and illustrative artists 'Good Wives and Warriors', who will incorporate elements of the AW12 Collection in their design.
Swarovski fans will be able to see its Regent Street flagship store transformed live by the illustrators, who will begin painting on 16th July for an estimated two days. The work will be displayed for a fortnight, before the process is repeated all over again on 31st July.
Customers can interact with the legendary brand through social media channels, and by revealing how London inspires them with hashtag #IconicLondon, may have their suggestions included in the stunning piece of work.
Becky Bolton and Louise Chappell are the design team behind 'Wives and Warriors' working collaboratively since 2007. They design large-scale installations as well as commissions for international brands including Absolute Vodka, Comme des Garcons and Adidas, and exhibiting in shows around the world.
Fans will be able to view and purchase the upcoming Swarovski Autumn/Winter 2012 collection in the London stores, available more widely in the coming months at other stores and retailers, including the Jewel Hut.
