Independent mining group visits Goldfield Basin, skepticism turns to pleasant surprise at visible gold.
(1888PressRelease) November 05, 2015 - Las Vegas, Nevada - Gold and Silver Mining of Nevada, Inc. ("CJTF") ("the Company")(PINK SHEETS:CJTF) a junior mining company in Nevada, were the recent hosts to an independent mining group at its' 100% owned Goldfield Basin property.
On Wednesday, October 30th, 2015, an assembly of mining professionals gathered and met with the CJTF claim owners and were led to the Company's Goldfield Basin mining claim.
"They were initially skeptical," recalls N. Fred Anderson, President of CJTF, who was on-hand for the visit, "We have made some significant claims as to the quality of this property, specifically to the amount of surface gold which is visible to either a simple magnifying glass or even to the naked eye. "
The band of professionals got down to the business of examining the soil and quickly returned with positive results.
"Well, we weren't surprised. I mean the claim owners," says Anderson. "We've been seeing this exact same result for some time now. But the group were taken aback. What initially began as skepticism turned to pleasant surprise, then became shock at how easy it was to produce gold right at the surface."
The group did their own sampling and assay work from which they reported finding gold in all of their near surface samples. The amount of gold ranged from 0.42 to 3.00 ounces of gold per ton equivalent.
The gathering of the samples was done solely under the direction and work of the visiting group. They picked the locations and dug up their own samples at random spots across the claim.
The Goldfield Basin property was recently granted a Notice of Intent Permit to extract up to 1,000 tons of samples for analysis and study.
Additional discussions are expected to proceed from this initial visit and will be reported on in the coming weeks.
