Sure International Deploys Innovative In-Store Signage Powered by Matrox C-Series Six-Output Video Card
Matrox C680 multi-display graphics card powers six-monitor digital signage video strip in telecom company's Saint Helier location, with more stores to follow.
- (1888PressRelease) November 11, 2015 - Matrox® Graphics Inc. today announced Channel Islands-based telecom company Sure International is modernizing its stores with help from digital signage video walls powered by Matrox C-Series multi-display graphics cards. Integrator Image Technique specifically selected the C680 to power a video strip comprising six monitors-all from a single board-for several reasons.
"We required a six-head output graphics card to create a video strip utilizing six 46-inch HD Philips screens," said Paul Midwood, Image Technique group business development manager. "The card needed to be able to run layered graphics which are animated… [The C680] performed excellently and the artwork looked professional, crisp, and fluid."
The visually stunning 5760x1080, C-Series-powered digital signage strip serves as a backdrop above available cellphones. It displays constantly flowing content generated by a system developed in tandem by Sure's CMS, integrator Image Technique, and design partner Acquire Digital. The install as a whole, which includes the video wall, delivers an immersive, interactive retail environment. Sure's Saint Helier, Jersey store is the first of three to feature this new system, whose goal is to enhance customer autonomy and the overall shopping experience.
