And 3rd May 2015, 6:30am to 8:00am, promises to be a show that Ahmedabad has never experienced before. At the very scenic and picturesque Sabarmati River Front, we are delighted to present a blend of the Hindustani Classical and Rajasthani folk. These two music forms will be presented together for the very first time in Ahmedabad, and the fresh morning breeze, open skies, myriads of colors, birds twittering overhead and a warm welcoming sunrise will only enhance this exceptionally unique and melodious experience.
Entry is absolutely free for all, and the secret to getting the ring side view is to be there a little early, and you can get the best seats to experience the exhilarating live performances up close.
So let's get together to celebrate music, and celebrate life through enthralling performances by these musical geniuses:
*Samarth Janve - An immensely gifted and decorated Hindustani Classical vocalist who keeps audiences spellbound with his mastery over Alaap and Taans. He is accompanied by Piyush Rao on Tabla and Rujul Shah on Harmonium.
*Gazi Khan Manganiyar - A virtuoso performer, a gifted folk and Sufi vocalist from Barmer, he is accompanied by young and extensively traveled Manganiar folk musicians Mustak khan (Dholak),Bakshe Khan (Kamaycha) and Dilawar Khan(Khadtal). All set to mesmerizes through authentic folk and classical ragas.
