Superior University held an Event on Breast Cancer Awareness
Breast cancer awareness is an effort to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of breast cancer through education on symptoms and treatment. Supporters hope that greater knowledge will lead to earlier detection of breast cancer, which is associated with higher long-term survival rates, and that money raised for breast cancer will produce a reliable, permanent cure.
- (1888PressRelease) October 26, 2019 - “Don’t think go pink” which is an awareness about breast cancer in the month of October is an annual campaign, for this reason Superior Group launched a campaign on Breast Cancer awareness and the causes of breast cancer. This event was dignified by the appearance of Ms. Perveen Sarwar (Vice-Chairperson Sarwar Foundation), Prof. Dr. Niazmuddin (Pro Rector Superior University), Dr. Atif Qureshi (HOD Medicine), Ms. Mariam Farhan (Director Engagement), Ms. Ayesha Zahid (Executive Director ORIC), Ms. Sonia Qaiser (Funds Manager Pink Ribbon), and Dr. Ayma Syed (Principal of The Superior College of Paramedical Sciences).
In this event The Chief Guest for the day, Ms. Perveen Sarwar, shared her ingenuities for the sake of women health, development, and education and respected the hard work of Superior University for creating alertness amongst students concerning startling growth of breast cancer patients in Pakistan. Dr. Nizamuddin and Dr. Atif emphasized the need for creating awareness in deep pockets of the society and how initial diagnosis can aid in the treatment of the disease. Teams Pink Ribbon and Jinnah Hospital held presentations on the topic as well. The event came to an end with the pledge to make cooperative struggles to limit breast cancer in the occurrence of around three hundred university students.
