Capturing data from handwritten documents not only required skills and expertise to process but also involved time commitment. Few of the handwritten documents were difficult to comprehend, which required even more effort and skills to maintain the accuracy levels throughout the project.
To help the Client evaluate company's methodologies and performance, SunTec shared a few samples with the client before the inception of the project. SunTec deployed a team of 40 members, who were assigned to work exclusively on the project ensuring optimum productivity, and that the project was delivered following data quality standards best practices, and within the timeline set by the client. The client uploaded the files through FTP and provided detailed instructions for project execution along with key details about the data that was required to be captured.
SunTec's team of professionals accessed the files via FTP and used OCR, technology to capture all the relevant data from hardcopies of contracts and converted them into digital formats that could be easily edited, whenever required. Data was then extracted from the converted files as per the client specifications. Captured data was entered into Excel spreadsheets once extracted and SunTec's QA team performed thorough quality tests to make sure that all the files were error free and accurate. Completed files were transferred to the client via FTP every week for their review.
SunTec successfully delivered data capture services with an accuracy rate of over 99%, which met client's quality benchmarks. The team captured crucial data from nearly 30,000 contractual documents over the course of merely 30 days, which was well within client's specifications.
