Sunshine Village announces spring concert lineup
Sunshine Village's five week long live concert series lineup announced today.
- (1888PressRelease) April 05, 2013 - Banff, Alberta, Canada - Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort announced the lineup for its popular Spring Concert Series today, with Banff's Chronic kicking off the five week long outdoor music event.
The resort's Spring Concert Series, which will see six local bands entertain on-mountain guests, will take place every weekend from April 20th and 21th through May 18th and 19th. This year's artists include returning favourites TR3, who bring their infectious dance music to the slopes and New Moon, to entertain with their reggae-influenced beats.
"Sunshine's Spring Concert Series is such a unique opportunity to indulge in Canada's best spring skiing while taking in an exciting musical lineup," begins Dave Riley, Chief Operating Officer, Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort. "This year's event will feature a wide variety of musical genres, providing entertainment for every guest."
The live shows can be enjoyed by anyone with a lift ticket or season's pass. Non-skiers may also purchase a gondola-only ticket to reach the concert area, located high in the Canadian Rockies.
Calgary-based The Steadies, recognized for their rocksteady and reggae influences, will cap off the annual musical event with Sunshine's world-famous 85th Slush Cup weekend.
