- (1888PressRelease) November 20, 2010 - Benalmadena Costa, Spain - Sunset Beach Club, a 4 star beach front resort hotel in Benalmadena, Costa del Sol, Spain is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Head Chef, Paul Tugwell. Paul will head up a team of over 20 staff and will be responsible for overseeing all food operations for this 553 room hotel which will include a redesign of the a la carte menus in the restaurants, new and exciting menus for half board guests, a completely new dessert menu, and introduction of new eating options such as a summer BBQ Buffet.

Paul is a seasoned hospitality professional. He began his career at the Savoy Hotel in London, quickly making his way up to the position of Sous Chef. After 5 years in London, he decided to move to Bath where he spent 9 years at two top hotels in the area: the Royal Crescent Hotel and the Combe Grove Manor Hotel. For the past 24 years Paul has held several Head Chef positions at top restaurants and hotels on the Costa del Sol as well as 5 years at the Les Roches Hotel School as Head Chef and Senior Lecturer. The famous boutique hotel, La Posada del Torcal has been Paul's most recent project; he was a key figure in helping establish this small converted country house as one of the top small hotels in Andalucia.
Sunset Beach Club hopes that their new head chef and new menu will help them to attract customers from outside the hotel, "Our Oasis Restaurant, with its large outside terrace, provide the ideal setting for lunch or dinner.
