Sunrise Village in Puyallup celebrates spring with the opening of Menchie's on April 5 and a visit from the Easter Bunny on April 7.
- Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (1888PressRelease) March 30, 2012 - Sunrise Village announced today that Menchie's, a locally-owned frozen yogurt franchise, is opening a store at the Puyallup shopping center on April 5, 2012. The store's opening has been anxiously anticipated by Sunrise Village shoppers who are eager to try the ultimate customizable frozen yogurt experience.
Co-owned by Cameron Garner and Chad Erikson, Menchie's joins six other stores in the Seattle and Portland areas, including its most recent addition, a store in Beaverton, Oregon, this January. The fun-filled self-serve yogurt shop features more than 100 rotating yogurt flavors with more than 70 toppings like fresh fruit, granola and candy.
Low in fat and high in calcium, Menchie's fro-yo blend contains live and active cultures and is a healthy alternative to fattier desserts. In addition to its traditional frozen yogurt, Menchie's also offers dairy free fruit sorbets and naturally sweetened, low carb and sugar-free yogurt. With so many choices, guests at Menchie's can concoct an unlimited number of topping and yogurt combinations, making each dessert a unique masterpiece.
Known for being a family-friendly store, Menchie's invites its guests to create memories and to enjoy the store's interactive experience with music, indoor and outdoor seating and free stickers and balloons for kids.
"We are very excited to welcome Menchie's to the Sunrise Village family," said Cindy Bogar, general manager of Sunrise Village. "Ideal for families and date nights, Menchie's is a great addition to our other stores and restaurants."
