The SUNRISE Select Royal Makadi Resort, for the second time the SUNRISE Holidays Resort and the SENTIDO Oriental Dream Resort were awarded by tophotels.ru as "Top 100 Best Hotels of the World".
HolidayCheck.com chose out of 300,000 resorts those hotels with an extraordinary quality and places them as "Quality Selection" hotels. This year both SENTIDO Resorts under the management of SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises in Egypt, SENTIDO Oriental Dream Resort and SENTIDO Mamlouk Palace Resort, won this certificate and are therefore part of the "Quality Selection 2013".
Several SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises Hotels were honored with the "Certificate of Excellence 2013" by Tripadvisor and the "Zoover Award 2013" for their high quality and the reach of an exceptional customer satisfaction.

The Arab Center for Media Tourism concluded its 2012 forum on the relation between security and Tourism in Egypt from SUNRISE Select Mamlouk Palace Resort & Spa in Hurghada, with the participation of 17 Arab Countries, and the presence of Dr. Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour, Egyptian Minister of Tourism, and Qatari Sheikh, Faisal Bin Kassim El Thani.
