The event was sponsored by American Solar Energy Society (ASES), the nation's leading association of solar professionals and advocates. Adam Farrell, CEO of SunMaxx Solar, was part of the SWH Installation Debate moderated by Mark Thombloom, Kelelo Engineering. The discussion was mostly about ongoing synthesis of new techniques and equipment choices with old methods. Adam Farrell was explaining the importance of actual training for installers to provide them with more knowledge about the latest technology in terms of system design, hands on installation training and product specifications.

The easiest way we could come up with to find our valued customers professional and trained installers was to train and certify these installers ourselves. Out of these two needs, the Silicon Solar Solar Energy Installation Training Program was born.
