Sudanese Rapper Bangs Gets Into The Holiday Spirit, Percentage of Single's Proceeds Will Go to The International Rescue Committee. End Quote

His catchy new holiday single, "A Christmas Story," is poised to continue his wild online success, but this time with a twist. A percentage of the proceeds from the new single will be donated to the International Rescue Committee (IRC), which responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. The IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster.

BANGS became intimately familiar with the IRC's reach when his own family had to flee the war torn Sudan region of East Africa. The family escaped to Egypt, and then to Australia, where he now lives.
