SuckerFree Games to Release "Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus"
SuckerFree Games has announced the August 5, 2014, launch of their flagship game "Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus". This Golden Axe parody of epic proportions appeals to both retro and modern gamers.
- (1888PressRelease) August 03, 2014 - "Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus" features a fanciful 90's arcade-style aesthetic. Drawing on its 90's roots this brawler is loaded with fluid sprite animation, vivid backgrounds and outlandish characters.
Players throw all restraint aside as they smash and slash their way through the whimsical scenery. "Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus" offers a plethora of quirky characters and settings, plus three-player online and offline co-op gameplay. Featuring with a professional soundtrack, giant fire-breathing chickens, a loin-cloth wearing diabetic barbarian, fraternity Orks, and flesh-eating Kobolds this game delivers a fresh and wacky take on the fantasy brawler genre.
On May 28, 2014 "Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus" was Greenlit through Steam's Project Greenlight after receiving over 20,000 votes. One voter said, "It's a fun, exciting, original game made by talented, good, genuine people - what more could you want?"
"Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus" will be available for purchase through the Steam website on August 01, 2014. The English version will be available on launch, with Italian and Spanish subtitle patches following over the next few months. The game will also become available for PC through Desura, Amazon, Humble Store, Indie Gala, and Bundle Stars. "Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus" will be ported to Linux and Mac after the PC release. SuckerFree Games plans to also have their new game available through Good Old Games and GamersGate in the near future.
